A beautiful specimen of an ancient silver coin, this Greek tetradrachm was minted circa 140-110 BC. One side depicts King Antiochus VII and the reverse depicts the goddess Athena Nikephoros.
Antiochus had a 9 year reign as emperor, which ended in 129 BC.
Athena Nikephorous is the bringer of victory in war and hardship.
The coin is framed in 14K yellow gold and measures 45mm by 45mm. The pendant weighs 20.5 grams.
